Description: Third party logistics provider that offers logistics services in a specific industry sector and this includes Groupage, part and full load transport throughout Europe. The role will be ideal for a graduate with at least 1 years work experience (with French or German language skills), looking for a career in Logistics. It will involve working closely with customers and liaison with depots and various departments across the UK and abroad. You will help to support the network operation and provide analysis and draw conclusions from data provided by various sources. The main focus of the role will be to enable effective management of distribution and cost saving or efficiency initiatives. The PersonThe successful candidate should be fully conversant in English, also speak either German or French and be of graduate calibre preferably in a Logistics discipline. Other attributes include: *Modelling skills, principally with Excel, but knowledge of other modelling tools a distinct advantage*Able to work with a variety of systems to extract data (e.g. ERP systems, WMS or Transport management such as Paragon) *High level of numeric skill and have an analytical nature.*Good presentation skills and able to present the results of analysis clearly and effectively (e.g. graphs, tables, diagrams)*Team player, self motivated and confident with customers as well as colleagues.*Language skill/s - French or German and good EnglishPackage and ProspectsThe salary range for the role is £20,000 and £25,000, negotiable depending on experience.
