The role of the Consultant at Real Resourcing: The role is essentially running your business (within a given market and technical area)- managing both new business and existing business with a view to develop long term relationships. Responsibilities include: - Warm and cold calling prospective clients, developing client business/relationships in a competitive environment - Contributing to the attraction of candidates (through various marketing channels such as advertising on job boards, local and national press, networking and head hunting) - Assess and respond to the needs of each particular client - Source suitable candidates, screen CVs, conduct interviews and brief them on the opportunities offered by the client - Manage the process through interview to offer stage and beyond As a Trainee Consultant you will have a defined training plan and you will work closely with an existing senior consultant and your line manager to achieve your desired success. Applicants will need: - Degree level education - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to demonstrate a record of competitiveness and achievement. - Proven tenacity to work well under pressure when things aren?t going your way. - Drive and desire to surpass your peers. To be successful as a recruitment consultant, you need to be pro-active and organised with good people skills. A high drive to succeed combined with a resilient temperament is essential.
