Description: For Decades my client has been a world leader in the design and manufacture of power transmission couplings. Supplying to many industries and clients, the company based in West Yorkshire has seen recent expansion through innovation and investment and are looking to expand their Design Team.My Client requires a number of Experienced and motivated Mechanical Design Engineers to join the Design Team at their brand new facility due to a new multimillion pound contract with a major power company.Reporting to the Design Manager you will play an integral role in the entire design process from meeting suppliers and clients right through to designing and developing products. You will have excellent experience of AutoCAD and sound mechanical engineering experience and knowledge. Liaising with different departments and clients you will have strong interpersonal skills along with negotiating skills.Working as part of a team but with Independence to manage individual projects , the ideal candidate would be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.My client is passionate about career and personal development, recently implementing free training and courses for new CAD packages. The new facility has on site canteen and free secure parking. The package is 25-34k including pension and holidays.
