Description: · To liaise with external suppliers to expedite the timely delivery of parts to meet production requirements. · To highlight supply issues early for quick resolution with Material Control personnel.· To ensure stock levels are maintained to a minimum without detriment to production· To produce part level material requirement schedules in line with MRP scheduling plan· To maintain accurate records of all parts received and finished products, shipped in order that precise stock availability details are to hand· To request any necessary stock checks and verify results fall within permissible error allowances. To alert the Senior Material Controller to errors which are out of tolerance· To maintain supply chain data as required by the department· To adhere to health and safety/environmental statutory and company rules and regulationsTo undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by the Senior Material Control and or Supply Chain Manager
