Description: ** Project Manager - Training Delivery Phase ** An Opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Project Manager to take over the final delivery of a major simulation project and lead the transition activity into the training delivery phase using Business Modelling techniques and considering Through-Life Capability Management issues for the latter phase for a major defence company based in Portsmouth. The Project Manager will be responsible for: * Managing the project in accordance with approved Project Management Plan, whilst maintaining and developing relationships with the customer. This will include reporting project status: customer, technical, schedule, financial, commercial, risk and opportunities via the contract review process. * Managing subcontractors * Performance review and developing the direct reports on the project team with the aim of maximising efficiency, motivation and potential of each member of the team * Identifying and pursue potential contract growth opportunities The successful candidate will be degree qualified and also have experience in a range of project types and also working on MoD projects, ideally training systems. Also you will be skilled in Planning, tasking and tracking as well as customer and supplier management. Desirably you will also have a Project Management qualification.
