Description: My client is a major business within the aerospace and automotive industry and currently have a contract position available for an experienced design engineer/structural engineer. I have this morning sent the following job description to my client and they have agreed that this is the type of skills and experience they are looking for. *************************************************************** Due to a significant resource gap within the design department you are now looking to strengthen the design team with an experience design engineer/structural engineer to work on a 3 month + contract at your site. The contractor will be working within the aerospace division of the department working on a number of engine related components such as castings, blankets, and high temperature protections. Although you require some level of CAD experience (ideally inventor) the contractor will be highly involved in stress calculations and structural calculations.
