Description: Power Electronics Engineer required in the Warwickshire area. Our client is a large, multi-national organisation, with a wide range of opportunities available both locally and abroad for all individuals who have aspirations to progress, or to branch out into different roles in the future. Your role will involve: - To investigate new power electronic components, research new topologies and work within teams to develop the new ideas being generated. You will ideally be someone who has the following: - Knowledge of modern high power power electronics (based upon IGBTs, IGCTs, RBGTOs and IEGTs) D - Design of power converters based upon these components. - Be familiar with the use of circuit modelling tools, and the inherent limitations.
