Description: REF: J824Programmer & IT Support & Data Analysis - £28,000 - £34,000Hours 8:30 17:30 Established electronics company in Watford seeks an experienced IT programmer to join their team. Based in modern offices in Watford, the successful candidate will provide programming and IT support to exisiting and new team membersResponsibilities include:Software Development (Programming) and Documentation for the companies internal systems Maintaining the company’s network & telecoms (installing workstations, cabling, networking, server upgrades, liaising with telecom providers) , staff training.Heading project to complete conversion of Access database to SQL still using the Access front end. This project has been started but still has a fair amount of work to complete. Using MS Access & SQL ServerWriting a web server application to provide web access to the database Evaluating existing processes and suggesting improvements. Providing IT Support and training for company personnel Data Analysis/Processing preparing queries to extract data followed by analysis and reporting of this data. This role would be ideaaly suited to candidates with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. Applicants should have working knowledge of VBA, SQL; VB6 and VB.net
