Description: My client a leading professional services organisation urgently require a Service Desk Analyst based in their Glasgow office. As a Service Desk Analyst you will work along the Operations Team to provide a single point of contact for all Computing and Telephony services. You will perform first line telephone and e-mail support on desktop, laptop, printer and telephone problems, and where possible recommend and implement corrective solutions. The successful candidate proven experience working within a Service Desk environment within a fast paced professional services/financial environment and related technologies. You will be working towards a formal qualification or have MCP/MCDST/MCSE or equivalent technical background. Have in-depth knowledge of standard business applications (eg, Microsoft/Lotus/etc) and a very broad technical knowledge. You will have proven ability to quickly pick up new technology. Part-time: Hours are 17.5 - 20 hours per week covering a varied shift pattern between the hours of 8.30AM-1PM and 16.30PM-21:00PM (may be some flexibility).
