Description: This role is based within a team of seven responsible for providing specification and contract support across the business brands. Its main focus is around lead generation and establishing a strong rapport with specifiers through project tracking and providing technical advice to assist business generation and completion.Your duties will include: generate, develop and pursue potential sales leads. Establish rapport with specifiers and raise profile of multi-brand and category product offer, monitor and track specifications, provide general and technical advice to specification customers, resolve queries and problems related to specifications, utilize leads and contact management, support the Specification and Contract sales teams, liaise with customer, sales and service managers on commercial service requirementsThe successful applicant will have experience within a similar customer service / contract environment involving telesales and providing key initial contact with customers. You will be PC literate with good keyboard skills and have experience of working with an external sales team. In addition to this you will have the ability to grasp technical, product and installation requirements, good oral and written communication skills, be customer focused with excellent attention to detail, be able to act on own iniative and prioritise own workload, be motivated and able to work under pressure and be flexible, reliable and cooperative.
