Description: The Business Consultant role is a key role in our clients structure, facilitating support for the following processes -·Consultancy and business analysis·Bid process·Marketing and lead generation·Solution deliveryThe role requires vision, leadership, market knowledge and good all round communication skills for liaison with Sales, Marketing, and Development departments as well as prospects, clients and suppliers. Key responsibilities are in the following areas:Business Analysis and ConsultancyBid processLead generationMarketingKnowledge transferSolution delivery supportExperience required-Demonstrates a strong awareness of the business requirements within the financial services industry and specifically within competitive or associated organisations operating in the same market.-Proven experience in consultancy and business analysis methods and techniques-It is desirable to have worked in the sales, consulting or sales support industry-Team working - Experience of working closely with clients & consulting teams.Skills Required-Needs to possess an excellent knowledge of the business environment and business functions, in one or more business sectors;-Must possess excellent inter-personal skills, i.e. verbal, written and presentation-Possess a broad appreciation of business and technological trends in the market place-Has the perspective to move freely through all levels of the project hierarchy, to understand both the detail and the strategic view of the project-Has a full understanding of the target Product range and excellent knowledge and understanding of the Client’s business and structure-Possess leadership, negotiation and time management skills -Commercially aware-Must possess consultancy, sales and business process mapping skills-Experienced in Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards Standards associated with the Development Role.Examples being: Corporate Quality Management SystemEducation-Ideally possess a degree or equivalent in Business Studies/Computer Science or similar discipline-Relevant industry specific qualifications e.g FLAA high level exposure to the Consumer Finance Industry/Marketplace
