Description: To Recruit, develop and retain people and acquire, manage and retain profitable customers through strong customer focus and excellent service. Need to achieve the key deliverables/targets in line with the agreed business plan and meet external compliance and regulatory requirements and adhere to internal systems and processes. Be flexible to change and incorporate change as required.Duties?Deliver success against KPI targets and plans through effective management of people?Manage the team effectively to help achieve overall Contact Centre SLAs and maximise the volumes of calls handled?Create a positive learning environment that develops Consultants / Advisors?Operate as a leader and role model to the team and participate in achieving the wider department and Contact Centre goals?Deputise for Manager where required?Create a positive environment in the team geared for success and generate positive morale within the team?Set the direction and lead the team in line with the department’s goals?Ensure that the team is motivated, focused and effective in their interaction with customers?Coach and develop the team in a way that ensures their skills are being focused on generating high levels of KPI attainment, customer satisfaction and compliance?Maximise and promote the benefit of Learning & Development programs to both staff development and KPIs?Manage staff and absence within set KPI target?Manage team members within HR guidelines following correct procedures for absences and investigations to poor performance?Take responsibility for handling a difficult issuesproactively deal with customer complaints and action accordinglySkills & Experience?Proven track record of motivating and developing individuals?Demonstrates contact centre and sales knowledge and understanding?Minimum 12 months previous experience of working in a target driven environment (ideally within a sales environment).?Ideally previous team management experience including performance management and achievement of objectives?Basic Excel and Word skills
