Hours - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday - 9.00 am - 5.30 pm)We are currently looking for a Customer Services Co-Ordinator to join our busy Customer Services Team based at our laboratories in Coventry.In this challenging and varied role, you will be directly responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring customer expectations are met. As a Customer Service Co-ordinator you will ensure the efficient and accurate administration of samples requested for collection as well as sampling equipment, results, reports, queries and complaints. Alongside this you will work on developing new projects and promote new testing and site services offered by the company. Developing excellent interactive relationships with clients you will monitor the progress of samples through the laboratory to ensure that clients deadlines are met and communicate any sample discrepancies back to them. You will also keep the sales team informed of the progress of work and of any possible new leads as well as liasing with laboratories regarding site monitoring issues.Applicants will ideally have experience of working within a customer focused environment. A background in or an understanding of analytical chemistry would be useful as well as an appreciation of the marketplace in which the company operates and the product that we offer. You must possess excellent communication skills and be customer services and sales orientated. To succeed in the role you will need to have good organisational and time management skills and be able to work under pressure. Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to have good IT skills with experience of working with Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
