Description: An opportunity now exists for a Building Surveyor to join our client, a well recognised and respected Belfast practice. The successful candidate will ensure that building control regulations are observed in the planning and construction stages of new buildings and property extensions. On complex projects you will be involved at the pre-application stage, to offer advice on design, repair and restoration projects. Duties & responsibilities to include:• Ensuring projects are completed on budget and on time• Advising clients on schemes and projects• Preparing documents for tender and advising appointing contractors and designers. • Dealing with planning applications and advising on property legislation• Advising on construction design and management regulations • Preparing insurance assessments and claims. The remuneration package on offer will include a competitive basic salary likely to be in the region of £18,000 - £25,000 + depending on experience, pension & health insurance coupled with 33 days holiday entitlement.
