Description: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor Roads - MTCAn Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor is required to join a Top 10 Civils Main Contractor based in the North London area to work on a Transport for London (TFL) roads maintenance contractRemuneration: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum plus benefitsBenefits include: Car or car allowancePensionHealth careRequirements: Ideally 3-5 years Quantity Surveying experienceMain Contractor backgroundCivils project experience preferably within roads/highwaysMaintenance project experience is ideal but not essentialLocation: North LondonThe job: The successful Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor will be required to assist in the Commercial Management of the TFL roads/highways maintenance contract: The Intermediate Quantity Surveyors duties will be (not limited to):Financial monitoring and reporting Managing financial records and inclusion in to the computer system for the generation of statements for payment to the client Production of and input into Application for payment to Client by due date Monthly internal report and forecasts produced by Head Office deadline Recovery of monies due from third parties by due dates Adding value to the recovery of monies from the Client Production and reporting on cost/value of work undertaken on a weekly basis Preparation of interim and final accounts Assist with payment and authorisation of sub-contractors To achieve targets as set in the performance management process The client: My client is a leading provider of support services in the UK.
