Description: Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager TFL ContractA Senior Commercial Manager or experienced Commercial Manager is required to join a Top 10 UK Main Contractor based in the North London areaRemuneration: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum plus benefitsBenefits include: Car or car allowancePensionHealth careRequirements: Ideally more than 15 years Quantity Surveying experienceMain Contractor backgroundSome Roads/Highways project experience is essentialCivils project experience will be consideredMaintenance experience is desirableLocation: North LondonThe job: As the Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager you will be a member of the contract strategic management team you will be responsible for: Establishment and maintenance of professional working relationships with the Client with regards to all financial matters Financial cost control of contract including budgeting and forecasting of expenditure and income Management and leadership of staff The successful Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager will have the following duties (not limited to): Manage the resources of the Commercial team ensuring financial and performance targets are achieved Support the preparation of annual budgets in line with company procedures and timescale Ensure the compilation and submission of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation Report detailing profit and loss against forecast Presentation of Valuation to the client Submission of estimates and tender recommendations for additional works Vetting and approval of subcontract payment certificates Final Accounts Debt recovery Budget monitoring The client: My client is a leading provider of support services in the UK.
