Description: Urgent requirement for Traffic Engineer to join the traffic management team providing design solutions using ARCADY, PICADY, OSCADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT and SATURN based in London. Our client is an international leader in the provision of Traffic engineering and management services, and they have an urgent requirement for an individual who holds a HNC in engineering, as well as having previous relevant design experience to join their London based office. The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of the DMRB, the Manual for Contract Documents and software programs such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, VISSUM and TRANSYT. You will be required to undertake the design of traffic management schemes, particularly cycling projects, in accordance to current standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for feasibility studies, road safety schemes, the preparation of drawings and specifications and liaising with local authorities and senior staff. You should have a good understanding of AutoCAD OR AutoSign, and have excellent man management and report writing skills. The role would suit an individual who has a 'can do' attitude who is able to work efficiently in either a team or solo environment as well as being able to work under pressure and to deadlines. You should have a full UK driving icense, as well as excellent communication skills. The salary for this position is £27,000 - £35,000 and also comes with a very flexible benefits package including Pension, Health Care and Pay review.
