Description: A Senior Architectural Technician in our Nottingham office has arisen role within a project design team of a multi-disciplinary design practice, working in Education and Social Services Sectors. The post requires a pro-active and positive approach, engaging with and supporting Senior Architects and Project managers to achieve compliant design solutions.RequirementsMCIAT, TCIAT or degree in Architectural Technology qualification. Good technical knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly. Experienced senior technical role within an architectural design office. Good working knowledge of the Building Regulations. Working knowledge of British Standards relevant to architecture. Architectural specification writing experience using NBS software. Provide technological and supervise technical input by others within the Architectural discipline. ResponsibilitiesLeading a technical team in producing feasibility.Tender and Construction packages including co ordination throughout all disciplines. Leading projects on site, chairing site minutes and liaising with clients. Producing minutes and communicating in a professional manor with Contractors, Client and others by letter, fax, email etc. Ensuring the project is run as defined by the specified contract (NEC, JCT).
