Description: Project Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor Leicestershire based HousingA Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor is required by our client, a prestigious housing contractor for a major housing regeneration project in Leicester.The roleThe successful candidate will be based on site in Leicester city centre, for one of our clients largest regeneration projects.You will initially be responsible to control all the commercial aspects of the current phase of 328 units, which is due to be completed by late 2008, and this project could potentially yield in excess of 1000 units.This initial phase consists of concrete frame construction and the future phases are more likely to be using more traditional construction methods.The role is site based, however there will be regular visits to our clients regional office in Nottinghamshire required.It is likely that the successful candidate will also be involved with estimating and other surveying duties to assist their division as a wholeThe clientMy client is recognized across the UK as being the best and most progressive residential construction company in Britain.
