Description: Operations Manager - Prestigious Hotel ChainOur client is a national hotel operator within the luxury 4 star bracket. Having recently completed a multi-million pound investment in their estate they are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager for their Edinburgh site.Job Role - Operations Manager- Deputise for the General Manager in all aspects of running the hotel- Pro-active involvement in the financial management of the hotel, including monthly and weekly forecasting and budgeting- Ensure service provided exceeds guest expectations and guest feedback is reviewed and actioned upon.- Responsibility for Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Conference & Banqueting Operations and Maintenance- Health and Safety manager for the hotel with responsibility for ensuring the hotel complies with its statutory requirements- Establish and maintain good working relationships between departmentsKey AttributesThis role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be at the forefront of the development of this site benefitting from major investment.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of the following: - Strong front of house and guest care focus- Strong commercial acumen- Relationship builder with a variety of customer types- Ability to communicate and motivate a number of different departments- Strong organisation and planning skills- Ability to set and work to financial budgets- Proactive with a positive attitude and commitment to the business.
