We are looking for a cashier to join a busy business bank based in North Birmingham.The purpose of this job is to?Provide a professional and accurate service to clients. Ensuring all tasks are completed on a timely basis in line with agreed policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensuring all clients are served in a friendly and efficient mannerYour responsibilities will include?Responsible for the efficient operation of the cash function ensuring all Internal Audit requirements are adhered to. You will take responsibility for the control and disbursement of cash, the use of time-locks, the security of the cash area etc.Highest levels of quality customer service standards must be maintained at all times whilst ensuring that all work is up to date and any problems, issues etc are escalated e.g. no queues, no cash differences etc.Candidates should demonstrate the following attributes?Customer service experience (banking where necessary)Understanding of banking fundamentalsGreat team working abilitySmart and approachable in appearance and mannerProfessional and personable approachThorough and efficient working methodsAbility to deliver good customer service to maintain the banks successful relationships.If this sounds like the ideal role and you have English and Maths GCSE or equivalent at C grade or above then we would love to hear from you!
