About the Role:The individual will work as part of the HR team, develop & implement an innovative & effective resourcing strategy to meet business needs.Also the individual will play a key role in managing resourcing activity across the business and develop company’s approach to resourcing to a new levelThe role includes:In conjunction with Head of HR & Training, the senior management team, and other key stakeholdersDevelop pro-active and innovative resourcing policies & initiatives for attracting& retaining ourtalent. Review exisiting processes and practices, making recommendations for improvement Write & review all job descriptions for the organisationWork to recruitment plans and deliver against them, on targetDevise & run effective, high volume recruitment campaigns, without compromising on quality Manage all aspects of the recruitment process throughout the organisation ensuring the delivery of best practice approaches; track & adhere to service standardsTo screen CV’s received from prospective employees.To conduct telephone interviews, and review if the candidates are suitable for the next stage of the recruitment process.Compilation & analysis of accurate management information, on a timely basis, including a standard recruitment report.To coordinate all work experience placements.Research & develop web based recruitment solutionsBuild successful relationships with external suppliers, recruitment agencies & executive search consultants; negotiate vigorously with agencies to obtain the most competitive deals for LCUKTake a “hands on†approach, undertake interviews, assessments and other recruitment activities, as necessaryPlan, organise & facilitate assessment centres, utilise psychometric tools, as appropriatePlan, organise & attend recruitment fairs & other recruitment events as requiredHealth & Safety:To follow all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines issued by the company at all times. To undertake appropriate training as required.Other projects and duties as commensurate with the post, as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience of working in resourcing/recruitment role - essentialExperience of working in acommercial fast paced environment - essentialPrevious experience in working in a Call Centre environment (highly desirable)Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering business focussed strategic & tactical responses to resourcing challengesPrevious experience of compilation & analysis of management informationCIPD qualified a distinct advantageRegistered/qualified in use of psychometric tests desirableLive in Watford AreaAbout the Client: Our client is a financial services firm
