Based in store you will be part of the sales team and also responsible for estimates at the customers house to confirm their flooring needs, measure, plan and produce accurate quotations.We are looking for someone with a desire to sell, who understands the importance of customer service, and is keen to help customers find the perfect match for their home.There is the potential for excellent career progression if you succeed in this role.Store/Sales Estimator REPORTING TO: Store Manager (base store)PRIMARY OBJECTIVETo contribute to the overall performance and well being of the Company by achieving predetermined commercial and service targets. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out on site estimates to establish customers exact fitting needs, quantifying all costs and services, whilst minimising waste, so that fitting can be carried out to customer’s satisfaction. Maintain high standards of Company image through, for example: professional personal presentation, good vehicle presentation, and prompt arrival at all appointments. Ensure that all necessary documentation is neatly and accurately completed in line with Company procedures and returned within the required time constraints. To liase with departments throughout the business to ensure the accurate and timely provision to customers of the products and services that they have selected. Maximise all sales opportunities when providing an estimating service. Maximise sales opportunities in store and take part in general store duties when not directly involved in providing an estimating service to customers. Assist in the implementation of all Company training and operational initiatives. Ensure personal awareness of and adherence to all Company Policies and procedures. Maintain good housekeeping and store presentation standards. Work safely and take reasonable care of personal, other employees and customers health and safety. Report any store security and health and safety issues to the management team. Subject to the needs of the business to be flexible and assist with any other duties as instructed by the management team.
