Description: Medical Claim Assessors x 20Applications required ASAP as interviews will commence immediately About The RoleOur client a household and well known leading name in the finance industry has a requirement for a number of medical claim assessors (15 positions) these roles are ideally for individuals who posses relevant PMI experience of at least 12-24 months.The positions will be based at their offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, ScotlandWith a salary of up to £35,000 (dependent on experience) you will be a member of a forward thinking Medical Insurance Claims team, you will quickly find that every claim you deal with is just as individual as you are. When you start taking incoming calls you will realise why our customers put so much emphasis on friendly and helpful customer service, and why it's so important that your own personality shines out. In the process, you'll enjoy benefits which you'll really appreciate. You won't have a script to follow, as in the average call centre. Instead, you'll have the freedom to handle your caseload exactly as your customer service skills dictate and you will be supported by a team leader as and when you need it as they will be there to support you at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesDealing with all claims related enquiries, mainly over the phone but also in writing Obtaining further medical information in order to assess claims and manage claims costs Liaising with internal departments in order to resolve queries or enhance the level of customer service delivered to the policy holders Experience Skills & QualificationsSuccessful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following: Experience of working in a customer service environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High customer focus and empathy Attention to detail Strong Mathematic skills Ability to review and interpret reports and health care claims data and apply underwriting guidelines for pricing adjustments. Detail-oriented and ensure quality and integrity of account specific data and information Self-starters who works with a sense of urgency.
