Description: SENIOR DATA ANALYST – LEICESTER – £26,609 - £35,509My client is an international insurance company and has been a leading insurance group since 1980. They have achieved an outstanding record of expansion which has ensured their place as a strong successful competitor in the insurance industry. Due to current demand there is a requirement for a Senior Data Analyst to manage the Statistics Department in their office based in Leicester.The newly appointed professional will manage, lead and develop a small team of statisticians. General duties include monthly reporting which will include premium analysis and loss ratios of which you will present in management meetings. You will collect, process and statistically analyse the company data as required and produce key stats of all business areas. You will also undertake project work as required such as building pricing models.My client is looking for the following experience:Essential:·Previous experience of working in an analytical role dealing with statistics.·Strong Excel skills.·Programming experience is ideal.Desirable:·Insurance of Finance background – other industries also considered.·Experience of managing a team.This is also an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for the next step in their career.
