Description: My client is the UK’s leading forestry, timber harvesting and landscaping company, with an annual turnover in excess of £100 million. Due to continued business expansion we have an opportunity for a Forestry Foreman to join our busy forestry team based in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire. Job content will include the planning and supervision of operational work on a wide range of sites in the Borders. To make the necessary contribution you should have a strong practical knowledge of forestry, well developed supervisory skills, be enthusiastic about working outdoors and have a pro-active ’can-do’ approach to completing tasks. You must hold a valid driving licence and the possession of certificates of competence for the use of chainsaws, pesticides and all-terrain vehicles would be an advantage.
