Description: Experienced in the operation of counterbalance forklift trucks, you should also demonstrate knowledge of "hands on" warehousing disciplines and working with computerised stock control systems, ideally in a manufacturing environment. You must be a good communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative, a good organiser with strong admin skills and attention to detail. The post holder will be in daily contact with suppliers, haulers & drivers to organise delivery schedules, unload materials and coordinate tipping of silo deliveries. The timely recording of all material receipts/transfers on the live-time stock system, coordination of QA positive release system, the ability to operate ancillary warehouse equipment and the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse are also key functions in this role.
