Description: Position: Actuary ConsultantsSalary:Competitive + study supportMy client is a worldwide company who currently are looking to recruit new members of staff (depending on the quality of candidates) to their Pensions Consulting Practice. Remuneration packages will be based on competitive market rates and there is a generous study support package available for actuarial students.The ideal candidate will be an actuarial student with around 2-3 years experience in a high-quality pensions consulting firm and who has made good progress with the exams to date. We are also fairly flexible so to find the right candidate we would also be interested in candidates with slightly more or less experience and exams. As well as strong technical skills, candidates should be highly personable and keen to succeed. These positions would particularly suit someone with personal ambition and the desire to make a contribution to our team.This role will involve the usual range of actuarial and consulting work. On the actuarial side, the successful candidate will need to initially carry out actuarial calculations including valuation work, accounting figures, transfer values and other bespoke costing. The role will also include a growing level of client contact, culminating in responsibility for a portfolio of clients as a consulting actuary.
