Description: Exceptional Part Qualified Accountants role (CIMA/ACCA)My client is a dynamic, global hotel company, which owns, asset manages and/or operates over 108 hotels in 17 countries around the world. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Financial Controller to support the management team with financial analysis, advice and driving through improvements in financial performance. This is a great opportunity for a part qualifiedaccountant (final stage CIMA/ACCA) looking to take on their first seriously progressive role within the Surrey area.As the Hotel Financial Controlleryou would be expected to:(i)Support the General Manager in areas of revenue enhancement, cost control, regulation and compliance(ii)Accurate daily reporting of revenue (iii)Integrity of cost controls, cost monitoring including F&B and Capex control(iv)oversee and ensure maintenance of Accounts receivables, Purchase ledger, Payroll, cash and bank and fixed assets(v)Ensure compliance with all mandatory returns and payments to Inland Revenue (payroll/Tax), VAT, rent and management fees(vi)accruals and pre-payments(vii)Forecasts and budgeting(viii)Support to the European Financial ControllerYou must have a professional presence and be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with ideally an experience of working in a hotel environment. You must be PC literate with a good level of Excel knowledge to at least intermediate level. You will be a confident team player who can communicate confidently all levels both written and verbally. As a self-starter you will demonstrate further competencies in your flexibility to ensure objectives are met. The salary with this role is circa 40 to 45K and you must be able to demonstrate the above skills.
