Our client a high profile government regulator is currently seeking to recruit two Compliance Managers to join an established team with responsibility for effectively conducting the assessment of large scale organisations.Reporting to a Senior Manager, key areas of responsibility will include:Reviewing the annual plan material submitted by the regulated bodies (e.g. Business Plan, financial models, governance, and mandatory services information).Conduct interviews with senior management teams and other key external stakeholders as appropriate to understand and risk assess the projections.Reviewing historical performance and conducting financial analysis on short to medium-term financial viability, identifying key risk areas and assessing sensitivities.Summarising their plans into agreed templates, ensuring that presentation of the case enables an informed discussion of the risk ratings generated for the regulated body.Raising key issues with the Senior Compliance Managers and Regulatory Operations Director pre-Board presentation and identifying clear next steps for resolution.interfacing with external support.An accountancy qualification or relevant work experience Relevant work experience in one of the following areas: corporate recovery, performance improvement, insolvency risk regulation, transaction services, M&A, corporate planning, financial management consultancySelf-starter, with an ability to co-ordinate and prioritiseIndependent thinker, with demonstrated good judgement, problem-solving and analytical skillsWell developed communication skills, e.g. ability to conduct interviews with senior management and to present these findings to the RegulatorProficient in Excel and Power PointStrong report writing and presentation skills with ability to present advice and information in a clear and logical wayAbility to analyse a significant volume of information and deliver clear, accurate, concise conclusions and recommendationsFlexible & team orientatedApplicants of all ages are encouraged and appointment will be made on merit alone.
