Description: An exciting contract role has arisen for a senior financial accountant to work within an expanding financial services company in Cheltenham.the purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the reporting process for financial services and private sector.Accountabilities for the role will be; to co-ordinate the month end process so that the declarations to the group are on time and to appropriate quality. Provide management accounting and financial control to central overhead departments. Provide technical accounting support to the central finance team Activity analysis of overhead costs, implementation of management information systems Provide ad hoc reports as required. The correct candidate will ideally be at or approaching finalist level in either CIMA/ACCA, have comprehensive knowledge of office and computer based finance packages, have the ability to communicate with all levels of customers and have good technical ability.
