Description: A fantastic opportunity to join a top ten firm to have primary responsibility for the conduct of individual audits as outlined by the audit partner and audit manager in accordance with the standards of the firm and profession. You will be required to prepare the audit plan and budget for review and discussion with the audit manager and partner. In addition, you will specify segments of the audit programme to be carried out by other members of the audit team, ensuring that assistant accountants understand their responsibilities and that they are provided with appropriate on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with experience of planning and completing audits with good technical and audit skills and understanding of business issues.
